1. Cancellation by Customer

If you need to cancel your booking, the following cancellation charges may apply based on how far in advance you cancel:

30+ days before departure 10% of total cost
15-29 days before departure 25% of total cost
7-14 days before departure 50% of total cost
Less than 7 days before departure 100% of total cost (No refund)

2. How to Cancel

To cancel your booking, please contact us through one of the following methods:

  • Email us at bookings@holideplanning.com with your booking reference
  • Call our customer support during business hours
  • Use the cancellation option in your booking confirmation (if available)

3. Refund Process

  • Refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days after cancellation approval
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method
  • Bank processing times may add 3-5 additional days
  • Payment gateway charges (if any) are non-refundable

4. Modifications to Booking

If you wish to modify your booking (change dates, add/remove travelers, upgrade package):

  • Modifications are subject to availability
  • A modification fee may apply depending on the changes requested
  • Date changes within 7 days of departure may be treated as cancellation
  • Price differences (if any) will be charged or refunded accordingly

5. Cancellation by Tour Operator

In rare cases, the tour operator may cancel a trip due to:

  • Insufficient number of participants
  • Natural disasters or severe weather conditions
  • Political unrest or safety concerns
  • Government restrictions or advisories

In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule your trip at no extra cost.

6. No-Show Policy

If you fail to show up for your tour without prior cancellation, no refund will be provided. Please ensure you arrive at the designated meeting point on time.

7. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances. This can help protect your investment in case you need to cancel.
